Participating artists Tada Hengsapkul and Sonya Lacey deal with found narratives and materials through forms of abstraction and animation. They will join co-curator Tan Guo-Liang to discuss their artistic practices and to share the making of their artworks for the exhibition.
Koh Nguang How and co-curators Cheong Kah Kit and Selene Yap come together for a conversation about Koh’s involvement and activities around the documentation and narration of Singapore’s performance art history through the Singapore Art Archive Project (SAAP).
The performance lecture is a continued response to the personal Eurasian folk stories explored in the film, Saudade. Through a reconstruction of three short tales, filmmaker Russell Morton examines stories passed down to him from his family and imagines their shared origins and histories through three objects.
